Third Generation Pedigree. Sire: Silver Patriarch Dam: Meltonby Half-sister to winning 2m hurdle/chaser Meltonian, and to Bygone and Melrose (both runner-up in a bumper); dam 6f-1m winner. Cracket has a lovely quiet temperament and is not the usual highly strung thoroughbred type. She loves affection and is a complete angel in every way. She will hack alone or in company and is good to load/catch etc. She had an accident in racing as a youngster and has been in a field for 2 years. I tried to bring her back into work this summer. Although she is fine to walk out as a light hack she appears to be uncomfortable in trot. She has responded slightly to having her hocks medicated but I have not investigated further. The vet has advised a physiotherapy programme to ride everyday and build her muscles up gradually. Very reluctant sale but unfortunatley I can't give her the time she needs.
