Seren Harlan Moon (Oki) is my 15.2 registered 7 year old dark bay American Quarter Horse. I bought him direct from Seren Quarterhorses when he was about 20 months old and have owned him for slightly over 5 years. I have trained Oki using a combination of natural horsemanship techniques. Under saddle he can perform all the basic movements of walk, trot, canter, back-up, sideways and turn on the quarters and forehand. Oki has only hacked out in company but will go first, last or in the middle. He is never strong and very responsive to aides but is still very green and therefore not a novice ride. He comes to call and is 100% to groom, tack up, clip and load in either box or trailer. In the summer Oki lives out 24/7 but is stabled overnight during the winter. He gets on well with other horses and dogs. Oki is good for the vet and farrier although he is bare foot and has never worn shoes. Up-to-date with injections, teeth and worming. Freeze marked and micro chipped. Oki is a horse who likes to work, is bright and has great potential for the future. With continued schooling, education and experiences he will develop and flourish.
